The History of Hayes Place
The history of Hayes Place is a long and complex one. It all began with Robert Hall building a new double-storey house next to Hayes Church around 1600 on the Asshleys site. It would go through a variety of changes throughout the years including becoming a home for Sir Stephen Scott.
